Word From The Directors

Directors

Since Ricky and Tom founded the business back in 2013 we’ve experienced enormous growth to becoming one of the UK’s leading mobility furniture providers.

With this growth comes investment in our new TV ads. Ricky said “Our current TV ads are great as a product run-through, but we really wanted to take them to the next level to showcase them for what they are – and that’s industry-leading. I’m so happy with how they’ve turned out; I think they’re great to look at visually and clearly highlight our values and product benefits. I can’t wait to get them onto the airwaves to show everyone and to light up their ad breaks!”.

Meet The Producer

Sophie has been producing TV, Radio and Social Media ads for nearly 5 years and loved this project of working with Middletons and taking our TV ads to the next level.

Sophie The Producer

“I was so excited to have this opportunity to work with a national company and the project of taking their TV ads to industry-leading level was one that myself and the Director, Andy Saunders, couldn’t say no to."

Sophie Finnigan - Producer

"We created some great concepts with our creative team led by Gellan Watt that really showcased Middletons and had great fun bringing it to life on the set. I’m so happy with the final cut – it clearly visualises Middletons excellent proposition in their 3 key categories of mobility scooters, adjustable beds and rise & recline chairs, whilst it also brings through the brand personality."

Meet The Stars

Grace

Grace

Starring as Pippa

How long have you been acting?

At the age of 4, I was the kid that got left on stage to sing from the panto song sheet. Loved it.

What else have you starred in?

A favourite of mine was working with Stanley Baxter in one of his legendary panto’s (there’s a theme emerging here)

Name one thing on your bucket list?

Oh, I’ve never done a bucket list. I’ve travelled through northern Italy by train and plan to return for a longer journey. Sometimes it’s just good to look back on the adventures that you have already experienced

Favourite actor / actress?

Impossible to answer. There are so many women making brilliant work. My favourite is probably the most recent performance to move me so Jodie Comer in “Help”.

If you could take this nifty scooter anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Port Soller, Mallorca. Pippa could wizz along the prom before diving into the water with her fabulous rubber ring.

Top tip to living a life without limits?

Not to rush around too much and live in the moment. Everyday brings adventure.

Angela

Angela

Starring as Cathy

How long have you been acting?

I started dancing class at 7 yrs old and have been performing ever since - but I left drama school in 1983 and got my first acting job in 1984 …so quite a while!

What else have you starred in?

I had leading roles as Tracey in the Ken Loach Film Navigators and Gloria in King Girl, but I have had major roles in a lot of Northern Drama too including Doctors, Emmerdale, Heartbeat and The Royal.

Name one thing on your bucket list?

To take part in the London Marathon and to go to Las Vegas and to swim with Dolphins and to see the Northern Lights and - oh sorry, it was just one wasn’t it!

Favourite actor / actress?

I’m a huge fan off the old musicals so it has to be Gene Kelly.

What’s your favourite bedtime read?

This changes with my mood but at the moment I’m reading Andrew Cotters “Olive, Mabel and Me”. I’m a real dog lover!

Top tip to living a life without limits?

Don’t cling to the past and don’t look too far into the future - live for today!

Susie

Susie

Starring as Olivia

How long have you been acting?

I’ve been acting a very long time! I graduated from Manchester Polytechnic School of Theatre, as it was then called (now Manchester Metropolitan University) in 1987 and I’ve been acting since then.

What else have you starred in?

I’ve done many, many plays over the years and some of them were two-handers, so I suppose that’s co-starring! I’ve also done some solo theatre shows, including one I wrote myself about the actress Vivien Leigh.

Name one thing on your bucket list?

Top of my bucket list is to go and live at the seaside! I particularly love Whitstable in Kent and would love to live there and watch the beautiful sunsets every day!

Favourite actor / actress?

I love Michael Sheen.

You're in this super comfy rise and recline chair, feet up, cuppa...what's your favourite movie?

I adore lovely old romantic films so if I was snugged up in that chair with a cuppa I’d probably be watching something with Doris Day or Cary Grant!

Top tip to living a life without limits?

My top tip to live life without limits is to be kind to yourself and give yourself a little treat every day.

After months of hard work to get these ads produced we’re so happy with them, and we’re sure that you’ll love them too. They’re fun, informative and should help to light up your ad breaks.
